The aim of the project is the development of site-adapted strategies for the prevention and/or control of the rough-stalked meadow grass that causes low yields and poor forage quality of grassland. Based on the status quo observation, measures for controlling the rough-stalked meadow grass are tried on practical farms in the landscapes Marsh, Sandy Upland, and Eastern Hillside. Additionally, a trial is planned to record the competitive power of different grass species and mixes against the rough-stalked meadow grass.
